Background: Tom Sullivan’s revolving door between government and the private sector started in 1991 at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. In 2001, Tom was unanimously confirmed by the U.S. Senate to serve as Chief Counsel for Advocacy at the U.S. Small Business Administration. Now Tom is part of the government relations practice at Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough , operates the Small Business Coalition for Regulatory Relief, and tweets under the “smllbiz” handle. Tom serves on the Board of Directors for the Public Forum Institute and on NFIB’s Legal Advisory Board.
